Game Frozen - Fixed

Hi, my sim went to t he hospital to have her baby and everything went great. However, I noticed the name of the dr and was curious and so opened his family up in cas. He was definitely who I thought he was. Now, when I went back into live mode, it took me back to the  home, but the family is still at the hosp. When I tried a reset, it said "sim not fo found." Is there any other way to fix this besides  quitting and going back to the last save point?

Edit to Add: I decided to let the game run for a little bit and they eventually came home and the baby appeared in the bassinet.   I won't be doing that again though!

Glad it sorted itself out!
Ever since the one time I went to the hospital, and the receptionist and doctor were, shall we say, ...busy doing something, and I had to wait that out, I've always either stayed home and waited for Mom to pop on her own, or I send her down the rabbithole.
