The Sims 3 64-Bit (Mac) - Store Content Issues

Hello!

I'm in the process of setting up TS3 on my brand new Mac laptop, and I'm having some issues installing store content. None of the solutions I found online have solved the problem, and I was hoping someone here would have a fix.

I'm able to download files from TS3 Store website to the launcher. However, this is what happens when I select an item and click "Install" (video here):

The bar at the top of the screen switches to Origin, but no other windows pop up and nothing else happens. I've tried many things, including uninstalling/reinstalling Origin and the game itself, but the problem persists.

If there are any Mac players out there who could troubleshoot for me, I would appreciate it immensely. I'm not amazing with computers, but I'm happy to provide additional information if it would be helpful.

Thanks MrsFlynn! I was able to solve the issue. For any other 64-bit users who might find it helpful:

It's an infuriatingly simple fix. I was trying to launch The Sims 3 through its own icon in Launchpad, but you need to instead launch it by opening up Origin, selecting The Sims 3 64-bit in your library, and clicking "Play." Store content installed without a problem!
