Cheat to force moodlets?
« on: January 13, 2011, 06:12:56 PM »
Yeah I know, the answer will be probably 'no' anyway but as we say in my country: not shooting is always missing.
So there's my question. If there is a cheat to bring up moodlets. I'm looking for an easy way to get a sim cursed you know. And normally I'm not so a fan of letting sims suffer but I need it for a movie, that's said, not some sick entertainment.
Any cheats will be apreciated.

Do you mean cursed as in Mummy Cursed? If so, use buyDebug to buy a Cursed Sarcophagus of Pharaos (or whatever is the name) and make your sim sleep in it until he/she gets cursed. If you can't find the sarcophagus, buy the Sarcophagus Fragments and try to build it.

I think sleeping in cursed sarcophagus will turn Sim into mummy, not cursed him/her, but sending your not skilled Sim in bad mood into fight with mummies will almost certainly get him/her cursed, sooner or later. Also, you can edit some of the tombs or create your own with tons of sarcophagus with mummies and eventually Sim will get it. (there is a tread about getting cursed in WA section).
I couldn't find any cheat to force moodlets, beside squeaky clean, having a blast and beautifully decorated you got with static needs.

Beautifully Decorated is not from Make Motives Static. You can also get Well Rested / Slept Like a King / Slept Like the Dead "permanently" if you turn motives static while the sim has it.

Thanks to you both Anushka and Naga.
Naga, I will try your idea first, right now.

And Anushka, I like your signature very much. Nice looking sim too. If she looks like you, you must be pretty in RL. :)

EDIT: Naga, I left my sim sleep in the cursed sarqofaque but nothing happend. He's feeling himself a bit stronger, because of the atheletic skill boost, that's all. No curse at all.

May I ask?  How do you make motives static?

Leto, Anushka was right. If you make your sim sleep hours enough in the cursed sarcophagus, he/she will come out as a mummy, not cursed. The reason you didn't get a mummy, though, is because your sim didn't sleep in there long enough (it's like 30 hours of sleep or something near that, but it doesn't have to be consecutive).

Jancy, at the main menu open the console with ctrl+shift+c, type in testingcheatsenabled true, and then load a game. At your sims' house, hold Shift and click the mailbox. "Make Motives Static" will be one of the options. Remember that using the TCE cheat may sometimes be dangerous if used carelessly.

Thank you very much Leto! I've been told so. Main problem is none believe me when I say my age. I've been constantly confused to be a teenager ;D

And Naga, thank you for completing the information. Both yours and Leto's signature were inspiration to make my own. And I also appreciate your contribution on several topics I've seen it.

To add on topic, you can get all negative moodlets from needs like hungry, stinky, stressed etc. with testingcheatsenabled on and dragging the mood bar.

Thank you so much Naga-you really are so knowledgable in this game!
I usually do not cheat at all but was curious to know what it does.
Thanks again - appreciate it
