Cow Flower
« on: August 02, 2021, 09:58:20 PM »
Has anyone else been able to plant one? When I try it fails to geminate, but it won't let me place it on the bare ground OR in the middle of patch. What am I missing?

When you plant a cowberry, it has to be in the ground with nothing else around it. It needs at least two squares in the front and behind it. It can not be planted in a garden box or on a patch. I hope this helps.

No, not a cow *berry*, a cow *flower* reward for errands. I have two now that I don't know what to do with.

I haven't heard of this until now. But I did find this cowflower Seems others are as confused as we are and are having problems. Some are getting them to grow some are not. It does seem that if it does grow, it will become a cowplant.

If you want to, you can leave a comment on that thread.

I managed to plant one but it disappeared. Nothing else can be planted where I planted it so maybe it is invisible? It is bugged to be sure. It even has the debug thing in its name.

I ended up selling the patch that both my cow flowers had disappeared in, and the flowers appeared in my household inventory. I sold them for $750 each. I don't need another cow plant.

I think there is a bug with cow plants.  After you plant them, if they stay little and won't let you feed them, try putting them in the household inventory and then take them back out an place them on the lawn again.  That happened to me and I saw this suggestion and it worked.

Good luck
