Housecall for Pets? (Ambitions)

I saw a post from 2012 about this same issue but unfortunately no one replied to it.

My sim is a Trauma Surgeon in the Medical Career and since I have Ambitions I decided to make a housecall. Though apparently my patient happens to be a cat. I'd guess it must be a bug of some sort. Anyone know about this?

I checked in with some friends of mine about this question. They too mention it's most likely a glitch/bug. If possible, cancel the case or reset the cat.
