Mods where sims 4 is under "Origin" not "Electronic Arts"

I want to start using mods in my Sims 4 game, all the help on this topic says there is already a Mods folder with everything set up ready to go. However, my game is under Origin rather than Electronic arts, and this Mods folder does not exist there.

Does anyone know how to add mods to the game where the folders are set up in this way?

The ea folder is in the Documents folder not in programs etc. Hope that helps.

Path -----> C:\Users\Username\Documents\Electronic Arts (By default)

Hi Loz,

Yes, that is true. You should have a Mods folder within your Sims 4 folder with a file called Resource.cfg. All you have to do is add what mods/custom content you have downloaded. You can find that Mods folder using the path below:

----> Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > Mods
