Downloading Lots with CC from Gallery- Mod vs. Tray Folder

Hi there,
I placed a lot from the gallery that had CC in it. I was able to place and can work on it in build mode. However, the files for it are in my Mods folder not my Tray folder. Is that ok? If I need to move them into the Tray folder, will it disrupt the game?

@bohemialo13  Files in the mod folder should all end with .package or .ts4script, they could well be cc associated with the lot you downloaded.  If you have files with any other extension then they should be in the tray folder.  The extensions for tray items are .sgi, .hhi, .trayitem and .householdbinary.  If you cannot see the extensions, then check the 'type' column to see what sort of file it is.

As long as you have the game shut, moving files around will not cause any problems.
