My Sim gave birth to a demon (Wrong cc for baby)

So my sim gave birth to this freaky ass baby. Its true nightmare fuel. I thought it was just a glitch at first so I reloaded my game and made her give birth again, but same results came out.. resetting the baby also didn't change anything.

Both parents are perfect normal looking, I'm praying that when he becomes a toddler he'll be normal 😭😭. Respectively I gave him the evil trait because he is truly the spawn of Satan. Now I will stick him in the basement and never look at him again

By the look of the photo it looks like the game attached cc to the baby that aren't meant for babies.

You might want to check that? Remove the cc from the baby to see if the baby's looks go back to normal.

From what I am seeing, there's at least eyes, lips and possibly some type of skin.

Try running the game without Custom Content to test. To do this, open the Sims 3 launcher, go to the Installed Content tab and tick the Run without custom content.



Your Sims 3 launcher may look different, depending on the version of Sims 3 you have. But the option of turning off cc from the Installed Content tab is the same.

In addition to what MrsFlynn said, I'd refer to this list of bad baby-glitching CC: http://findingbadccsims3.blogspot.com/2012/06/how-to-fix-baby-glitches-in-sims-3.html (supposedly the brows are the culprit here? Whatever it is should go away or be more easily fixable when your baby ages up)

Hi, thanks for the suggestions. I'm pretty positive it is a CC problem, but even after looking through lists of Bad CC I couldn't find any that I had downloaded. Scrolled through my entire installments list, deleted some possible contenders but the baby is still messed up.
And nothing showed up that the baby was wearing, so it must be some sort of hidden CC? I deleted some custom eyes, and lashes, and checked lots of the makeup for corrupt CC. I haven't downloaded any sims, and I usually download from TSR and with popular creators. Thought sometimes when I'm looking for specific items, like for toddlers I'll go to tumblr to search.


but now I'm a bit worried, are all my babies going to look like this now?? Or was it just a one time glitch that put random CC on the baby.

In my experience yes it could be some hidden cc files that are problematic. I am not sure if all your babies will come out looking like that or not.

When I've had problematic cc I make sure I have my favorite cc, mods and store content downloaded, and then delete the files in DCCache and DCBackup.

\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\DCCache

and

\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\DCBackup

Clear my game cache inside \Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3 and reinstall the cc, mods and store content a few files at time. Testing as I go. Basically, install a few files check with a new save and then quit clear the game cache. Then rinse and repeat.

This method is a sure-fire way of getting rid of the bad cc that you just can't get rid of any other way.

I don't recommend this method, unless you have your cc, mods and store content backed up. I am not responsible for lost files.
