Social Event Goals not showing

It's always worked in the past but now when I use the phone to plan a social event, the Event name shows up on the top left but there are no goals there and so the event just runs out and you get a thumbs down for your party. Does anyone know why this happens? I've tried a few different types of parties and events. Thank you.

This is a reported issue and Crinrict has posted an article about it with a fix. :)

Social Events don’t have any goals anymore

 -- Make sure to tick goaled event when trying to throw a party with goals.

I was also having similar issue and after the reading guide mentioned by MrsFlynn it is all working fine.
