I have just started as a ghost hunter. I know I can collect spirits but I don't know how? How do I actually start collecting them? I have them in my inventory but don't know what to do with them?

Spirits can be sold, donated to science, released and transfigured.

Yes, I know that. but I want to know how to COLLECT them - which apparently I can also do. I just don't know how. Can you tell me?

To Collect them you just either keep them in your inventory, or you can slide them out into your home and they will appear in a cage.
