So, I was downloading CC using the Sims3Pack and because I'm such a noob to the game, I would take the downloaded content (after already installing the item) and move it into a CC folder I created in my Sims 3 files. My computer was starting to run low on space, and I had discovered that if I already had the Sims3pack installed, I didn't actually need to keep it. So I deleted alllll my Sims3Pack files (which ended up bring around 1.5G of content)
Then later, when I go to play my game, I opened up one of my saves and saw that all my CC was gone from the game!! And what's even weirder, none of my Nras mods were working either. The portrait panel, and when I clicked on a sim or just anywhere, Nras wasn't an option.
Which is weird, because I never even TOUCHED Nras!! Sure I downloaded some .package CC as well and just threw them in my Packages folder because I was too lazy to create separate categories. But my Nras mode are in a whole separate sub-folder and I don't see how the other .package files would affect them either.
I immediately quit the game and went to my Sims 3 files. Strangely enough, all my Sims3Packs are STILL in the downloads folder, I never touched this folder, and when I tried to reinstall some of the CC, it said the content was already installed. So I know everything is still installed via launcher, it just didn't show up via game???
I also noticed in the files I had Script-Errors and Script Cache, which I assume to be the root of my problem for Nras. I have no idea how this happened, as again I never touched my mods. I know my Candy Crush skins also didn't seen to be working, one sim I made was just a black void. I didn't check my other mods like Hospital Override or my Pregnancy Mod, but I would assume those don't work either.
I have no idea what the heck happened, and would love some advice on how to fix my game??
For a recap:
Mods not working
CC installed via Sims3Pack not showing up in game
.package CC seems to be fine except for the CandyCrush skin I had.
I would be happy to DM someone aswell to send the crash reports that are present in the folder too.
