This might be my last post on this dynasty for a little while. The Sims Medieval comes out tomorrow and I doubt I'll be able to continue this and play that and do the challenges. I'm sure I'll feel like coming back and continuing this after I get some time in with The Sims Medieval. Here's what my sims have been up to....
Along Comes DanaHarry did a great job taking over the gardening responsibilities.
As the days went on, his gardening responsibilities became easier. He gardened faster and plants began dying off. He did not replace them as they died off. Harry also upgraded anything that he could think of around the house that hadn't been upgraded yet, and anything he could think of that the house might someday need. Many of these were stored in the family inventory after being upgraded.
Snow White surprised me by autonomously fishing out of a pond of deathfish that I made for her at home. I was very happy about this.
Bashful decided that it was time to find a wife. For some reason, every one of his school mates had been a guy, so he'd have to look elsewhere. I thought a pizza delivery person might be a good option, so he could give his descendants the hidden pizza appreciator trait. He had three people deliver pizzas to his house and asked them all to hang out. A nice looking woman named Dana delivered the fourth pizza. I wish I would have gotten a picture of all the pizza people hanging out at his house in uniform. The next day, he invited Dana back over.
It wasn't long before he proposed to her.
And then it was time for the wedding.
Well, the last one was actually after the wedding. Considering that Dana was 12 days or so from becoming an elder, they figured they'd better get to the baby making. Dana had no trouble getting pregnant.
Dana's traits, by the way, turned out to be neurotic, insane, unlucky, natural cook, and childish. I wanted Dana to learn to paint and read a pregnancy book during her pregnancy, but she had other ideas. Mostly she checked herself out in the mirror or played with the mirror.
She also loved to scare Snow White while she was fishing.
Once scared, Snow White would forget about fishing and hang out with Dana.
Despite Dana's lack of caring about her pregnancy, she still had a successful one. Doc was born with the traits good and genius.
If Dana was awake and Doc's needs were low, she was pretty good about taking care of him. At least Dana did something right.
