Plasma Fruit?! Help!

Can someone give me some advice about planting and harvesting the plasma fruit? I just got the Sims 3 Late Night Expansion pack so I need help.

It counts as a Special plant, so you need Gardening Skill 7 to plant it. Tending and harvesting is no different from any other plant - you need Gardening skill to weed and water it, and anyone can harvest the fruit.

The plant will yield 1 fruit, twice (a few days apart), and then wither - you'll need a lot of plants (maybe 7 or 8 per individual depending on what kind of fertilizer you have available) if you're planning to have a vampire family live off home-grown plasma fruits, because you basically get one to eat and then one to replant from each plant. Having several of them in your garden might attract a vampire gnome to the lot.

Had same problem, click on fruit (plasma) and say plant or plant many. Do not put on ground and try to plant, don't work. Cheers

It's also helpful to know that the "special seeds" that glow red are the ones that are plasma fruit. The ones that don't are either life, death,flame plants or money trees!

Ok now that we have the Plasma Fruit figured out, what does the vampire’s eye gem do if nothing at all? Just curious. Cheers!

I don't think there is any special properties about the vampire's eye gem. It's just a rare find.
