So, I understand the weights that were introduced, to an extent. I was curious, though, if I graft all the same rarity (I.E. all Rares onto a Rare plant) would the harvestables come out even in that case?

Yes. Makes the rare trash plant great. Grows quick, is rare, year round availability to harvest, and easy to obtain.
