Moschino photography lighting

Apologies if this is in the wrong place.  I recently downloaded the Moschino stuff pack and am having issues with getting my lighting right.  The background of my photos just looks grey (am using the white photo drape) and the Sims look dull.  Has anybody got any tips on where to place floor and ceiling lights etc?  Thanks.
