Midnight Hollow installation issues

Hi all!

My wife and I bought Sim Points and got Midnight Hollow through the in-game store the other night, but we can't seem to figure out why it won't work. We're running the Steam version of the game and made sure that everything in the downloads section and the launcher was downloaded and installed. Certain items failed to install and I'm wondering if that may be the reason why it won't let us pick Midnight Hollow for new games. In fact, the option doesn't even show up. If anyone has any advice it would be HUGELY appreciated!

Did you check in the Launcher to see what the status was? Did you try re-downloading?

I've read about the possibility of having to re-download, but I'm not entirely sure how to go about it.
