2nd June Patch
« on: May 30, 2020, 10:38:15 AM »
I'm really excited for the changes the patch will bring, but I just wanted to say that because it will be a big one, making many changes to the game, it is very likely to break mods and some cc.  Please make sure you are ready for it and check out the 2 posts pinned at the top of this board if you haven't already.

Sims 4 - How-To: Fix Problems with Mods/CC

I hope to be around a bit and am happy to help answer questions if people are struggling with broken mods etc.

Happy Simming
Helen

Yes, I am planning to have all my mods and CC break. I think it is best to remove them all, wait a week update all those with updates, then add them back one by one. The bain of mods is they often break after large updates and this one is going to be huge. @HelenP thanks for the reminder I need to deal with that issue.

Also, if you have "can't play without them" mods-  for me, MCCC and the naughty one- go into Origin, disable game auto updates, and then put Origin in Offline Mode.  TS4 can be launched from its folder, if you didn't know that already.  Once your mods are up to date, you can put Origin back online and get the game patch.
