Will this all-in-one desktop run the Sims 3 nicely?
« on: March 30, 2020, 02:43:01 PM »
Hello,

I am looking for possibly an all-in-one desktop that will run all the packs for the Sims 3 and some of the packs for Sims 4. Now I know, either way, the more packs I have, the more lag. But I want something a little better than what I have now. I found this desktop

 https://www.bestbuy.com/site/asus-zen-aio-23-8-touch-screen-all-in-one-intel-core-i7-12gb-memory-1tb-hard-drive-128gb-solid-state-drive-icicle-silver/6211917.p?skuId=6211917

On Best Buy and it looks pretty good. I am on a budget so I figured an all-in-one could be a better option. I would only use this computer for The Sims and not any other games (because otherwise I am a console player).

Thank you in advance for any help on this since I am new to desktop/PC gaming.

It should run both Sims 3 and Sims 4 okay, however hard drive space is a big concern.

The page says the system only has 128GB of hard drive space. Which is may not be enough to install and play both games with all packs, Store content for Sims 3, custom content and mods.

It would be better to have a 256GB hard drive or larger.
