Transferring Saves!
« on: February 25, 2020, 02:10:54 PM »
I had to uninstall the Sims earlier today so I thought I'd keep my saves somewhere safe so I had all my games. I copied them onto my desktop and uninstalled the game. When later on reinstalling the game I added in the saves to the new saves folder. My game runs like it usually does, has all the saves. But when I go to play one the sims aren't there. I am unable to press the play button and there's a blue square where they should be when you hover over the house.

Does anyone know what's going on or has had this problem? Let me know if you've solved it!

You forgot to save the Trey folder as well. The trey folder is where your sims are saved. Look to see if the trey folder is in your trash can, if it isn't there I am sorry it is beyond my knowledge to help you even if it can me fixed. If your trey folder is in the recycle bin replacing the new one with the revered one may fix it. I wish you luck. I really hope you can recover the old trey folder and it is intacted. It sucks to lose your sims you worked on and enjoyed.
