Fountain troubles on PS4

I downloaded the retro starter house onto the 30x20 lot in the bottom right corner of Willow Creek. I used the bulldozer in build mode to one click level the backyard after removing the pavers and stairs that came with the house. Now I can’t put in a fountain due to a “can’t build the fountain below anything” error. I can place anything else I wish in the backyard, but not a fountain. By the way, I can build one in the front yard. Any ideas?  Thanks.

Oh, it did work when I built a community pool on an empty lot. That lot was flat.

This looks like it may be a known bug or something similar for both the Console edition and PC/Mac versions of the game.

If using a waterfall with the fountain, move it to see if that helps you build the fountain.

If that doesn't help check to make sure the creator of the lot or any others aren't having the same issue.

If none of the above help, you might try logging in with your EA account and reporting it as a bug.
