Pregnancy question.

I had my sims try for baby then queued up paint picture. I didnt get her to do a pregnancy test. I noticed that she had the pregnancy moodlet so I clicked and sure enough 22 hours till 2and trimester. I thought that a Sim wouldn't discover they were pregnant by themselves that quickly.

What exactly is your question? It takes a Sim about 24 hours to know if they are expecting or not if they don't take a pregnancy test.

My question was is it normal for a sim to discover they are pregnant within 2 sim hours of trying for baby if you don't do a test.
I'm going to guess it's not usual as you said it takes around 24 sim hours for them to discover they are pregnant.

Next question don't Sims usually go tell the father when they find out they are expecting cause my Sim did not she just kept on painting.

I don't think I've had a Sim find out they are pregnant within two hours, usually it takes about a day. They sometimes start getting the baby thought bubbles or morning sickness right away though.

Some Sims I've played with have told the father straight away and others haven't, I think it just depends on the Sims themselves but I really have no idea what makes them decide to share the big news or not.

I have to admit I haven't played with families in a while, at least six months, I'm not a really a family player, I'm just recalling my experiences from last years Baby Boomer and my Legacy. Too many Sims tend to drive me nuts and I always get twins too! I almost went insane playing that Baby Boomer challenge, lol.

My sims often get the moodlet immediately, but definitely not always.  I guess some just figure it out sooner than others, haha!
