Robotics bug. Seeking a workaround.

After a long hiatus, Sims 4 discover University drew me back into the game. I have a really annoying bug that I'm trying to figure out why it's happening. It's with a pre-made spellcaster, Darrel Charm. He's at Foxbury, he has robotics mastered, and he is in the robotics club. I am not getting the option to enhance bot on the bot-making machine. The research I've done so far let me know that he needs the required parts in his inventory for the option to show up. So, I made sure he had the required parts, still no enhance option. I also read that Sims aren't finishing the enhancement unless they have double the required parts. So, I made sure he had double parts in his inventory, still no option to enhance. Something else that is kinda strange has to do with conversation options. The other Sim in my household has no robotics skill, however, she has all the robotics socials. Darrel has none of the socials, but he has maxed the skill. So, I was wondering if anyone else has came across this and found a way to fix it. Also, just to note, I did all the basic stuff, repairing the game, clearing the cache, etc. Thanks!

No, it's not exactly what issue I'm having because I don't even get the option to enhance. I've read through that before I posted here.

From what I understand, you need have more than enough materials in your inventory to accomplish the task for the option to show up. However, it has been reported that in some cases doesn't matter. The option is still greyed out, starts and doesn't finish or the parts disappears.

It seems like it may be apart of the bug I pointed out previously.

You enhance bots ans servos on themselves, not the Robotics Making Table. Once the bot/servo is made they never interact with that table again.

So click on the bot or servo directly and you'll see the option to enhance or check enhancement levels. These appear after the servo has gained some skills.

I appreciate the help, but it is something else.  I tried to enhance it on the table, on the ground, and in inventory clicking on the bot directly with all the parts required already in his inventory.  Then, with double plus more of the parts in his inventory, like I mentioned in my first post.  There is no enhance, ever, not even greyed out.  It doesn't matter anymore anyway, that ship is sailed.  I really didn't like that skill anyway.  Thanks for the responses.

Hello. If you are still interested: I tested that bug some time ago and remember that the option to enhance the robot only came up after the robot had been activated for some time. I would suggest that you do that and let it go around do its thing until almost run out of energy and try to see if the option turns up then. If that does not work, could you say which utili-robot it is?

The social interactions sounds very odd. Is it a new game, or a well played save? I trust you have removed any third party content. Does it happen if you create a new Sims 4 folder and try the same scenario in a new save in it (same sim, household of two, level the robotics skill, check the social interactions)?
