Last time I loaded the game, I'd decided that when Honey and Chuck have their birthdays again, I'm going to let them age up - it's getting a little strange for Curry to be a young adult and still have adult parents.  They'll still get regular tattoos - Honey needs to maintain the household friendships and Chuck needs to keep hunting for metals.

Curry has been working on her Horse Best Friend requirements, aided by the family's Motive Mobile.  She started by purchasing Vindaloo from the Equestrian Center...

...and the next day, she befriended and adopted Korma, who immediately fell asleep in the front yard before I could get a decent shot of him.

It's going to be Honey's job to train these horses so they can be sold back to the equestrian center.  Curry is so busy watching wild horses and keeping Neptune happy before equestrian competitions, she won't have time.  (Also, Honey is running out of things to do with her time.  There's only so many concerts one rock star can reasonably give!)

In the pollinating department, Li gave birth to a daughter named Selina.  I had Zac try for another baby several times, but there were no lullaby chimes   So I had them do the stereotypical bathroom private wedding...

...with a toilet trained cat as the only attendee.

That evening, Johnny had his appointment with the Grim Reaper.  I'd been careful to grant him his every wish as he approached the end of his life; these wishes mostly had to do with fishing and gardening.  Despite my efforts to give him a large tombstone, he fell about 20,000 points short - but still seemed happy enough to go with Grim.  The timing could have been better, though - Curry was in fourth place in the international cross-country event.  It'll be advanced events for the next few days until the moodlet wears off

There's always that housemate who dies mere points away from the large tombstone (and somehow that has been Johnny for me too, in a game where I didn't need anything from him but I was still mad). At least this isn't a challenge where you need the largest only.

Anyways this chapter was stolen by the toilet cat. What a smart little dude.

Ugh, it's so annoying when you're doing everything the sim wants and still don't get the large tombstone, especially since if you'd known you could've used some of the points for the family's benefit. But at least it's one requirement less to worry about. RIP Johnny!

Oh Johnny, you were so close! I'm loving elderly, equestrian Honey. It suits her so well. I'm still impressed by you doing the riding supermax on a short lifespan. I'm terrified of attempting it on a regular one and you are killing it!
