Question: Is this because of the reputation system?

This is a new save and, as far as I know, all of the Sims in the shot have neutral reputations. I have my game set so that Sims do not autonomously game fame. Everyone kept reacting to Lilith Vatore (who was working as the bartender), Anaya Jang, Joaquin, Sergio, and a random townie. It went on for quite a while, with constant thought bubbles of those Sims. Does anyone know of a mod that stops all reputation reactions? I have the one that stops reactions to positive reputation.

Yep, looks like the reaction to a sim with a good or higher reputation. No, sorry, I don't know of a mod that would stop that, bound to be one somewhere though considering how annoying it is.

What’s weird about it is that I popped into Joaquin and Sergio’s lot afterward and their reputations were both neutral.

Unless they were doing something inappropriate due to a mod you use..? idk. It is a guessing game when just looking at a screenshot. Maybe they flirted and you didn't notice it?

Anaya Jang has been known to flirt inappropriately, so that might explain it. It hasn't happened again and my Sims have been out to several nightclubs.

Sims can get flirty of the Headliner DJ uses the mood altering DJ action, so that probably explains it..maybe? lol

Now, if the Sims who witnessed whatever it was would gossip about it like they used to in Sims 2....LOL.

When your Sim has a high reputation, some Sims will spontaneously applaud, when they see your Sim. Sometimes, they will clap, when they pass your Sim's house & get that icon of your Sim's face above their head. I seem to have seen some sort of dialogue, that said something about good Sims. I know Geoffrey Landgraab seems to always cheer, when seeing my Sim, but I'm not sure if it's coincidence, or just a general reputation reaction.
