A History Story

I know I have a hard time completing challenges, and this probably won't be any different, but I'm going to try!

The Sims 4 History Challenge

I don't know if I'll go for the overall points or just the time period points, but we'll see!

Reach level 10 in every skill at least once - 1 point
-Painting, Fishing, Gardening, Handiness, Violin, Writing, Charisma, Logic
Earn 10 gold medals on each different type of social event - 1 point
Only the base game social events are required. These are House Party, Dinner Party, Birthday Party, Wedding and Date.

Earn 250 000 simoleons during a single Era - 2 points
Reach level 10 in 2 different careers on the same Sim - 2 points
Reach level 10 in 10 different skills on the same Sim - 3 points
Have the same Sim earn at least 20 000 Satisfaction points - 3 points
Complete each aspiration at least once – 4 points
-Angling Ace, Freelance Botanist, Fabulously Wealthy
Complete at least 10 in-game collections – 4 points
Represent each Era with a family portrait/photo – 5 points
Display the graves/urns of all deceased family members on the challenge lot or on a dedicated graveyard lot - 5 points

Ayla Crum and Akeem Crum are my ancestors.  When their grandchildren are born, that's when a new age will begin!

Prehistoric Era
Reach level 10 Fishing, Gardening and Handiness skill on the same Sim – 1 points
Earn 20 000 simoleons from selling rocks, fossils, frogs and/or woodwork – 2 points
Have the same Sim have children with at least 5 different Sims - 2 points
Catch an Anglerfish worth at least 1500 simoleons - 2 points
Have no family member die of anything other than Old Age – 3 points
Final Prehistoric Score

Early Civilization Era
Reach level 10 Charisma, Painting and Writing skill on the same Sim – 1 points
Earn 5 000 simoleons from playing music for tips – 2 points
Earn a gold medal on a house party, with the maximum number of guests - 2 points
Display at least 100 unique in-game collectibles on your challenge lot - 2 points
Have the same Sim write 10 books of Bestseller quality – 3 points

Ayla quickly moves into paining and a bench is set up for Akeem to do his woodworking.  Those will be the main sources of income for this era.

Ayla even tends while heavily pregnant, it seems.

Akeem is intrigued by this new change in life, and already some plans are forming.  It's not like people are too attached to one another in this era, no one would blame him if he explored his options, right?

A bassinet is bought and a baby is brought into the world!

Or well... two babies.  Giselle and Rose are the firstborns of this challenge!  Wasn't expecting twins, but what can you do?

They grow up quickly into strange new clothing, but it's whatever you can find at this point, they don't have the furs of their parents just yet.

Ayla planted a cowplant seed that Akeem fished up, it's serving them well so far, guarding the children (who both grew up randomly becoming Wild) from any intruders.

Akeem glances over at Ayla as he wanders off.  She's pregnant again and has no idea what he's up to on his fishing trips.  Not like she really cares though.

He's finally started to work with wood, which is giving quite a bit of simoleons to the family.  Already they have over $20,000 just from woodworking, so the first 2 points of the challenge have been met!

Akeem has made his way through the Caliente women, he apparently has no shame, but that's what life if like right now!

Nancy Landgraab is no saint either it seems, and she is quickly pregnant at the same time as Nina, Dina, and Katrina.

Heavily pregnant again, Ayla spends time in her garden and with the girls, painting when she has free time, to make sure no one takes them.

Alana is the third daughter, Akeem hopes for sons.

Zoe Patel is in his sights as well in his hunt for boys.

The twins grow up!

And quickly find new furs to wear, mimicking their parents as Alana stays in her bassinet.


Some things are different since I have base game + Cats & Dogs.  I'm allowing them to have beds and a refrigerator or else they would never survive, especially with toddlers.

I did a thing!  I bought Get to Work, Realm of Magic, and the Romantic Garden xpacks!  So some new stuff should be coming soon <3

Alana has grown up into an Independent toddler, looking just like her older sisters.  Akeem has gotten several messages from the women in his life.  Nina had a girl named Cristina.  Katrina had a boy named Jonas.  Dina had a son named Patrick.  Nancy had a daughter named Cheryl.  Akeem finally has sons!

A little upset with things, even though she might not know why, Ayla has been fishing.

She's also worked on her woodworking while Akeem does what he does, she has decided she doesn't care anymore, she has her three daughters.

Akeem feels badly, however, and has started helping take care of the garden.

He's also started to work on his painting!  Selling them, along with Ayla's paintings, to fellow clans.

Ayla mastered gardening, and now has mastered handiness at the workbench!  She's also mastered painting and is working on fishing.

And has now mastered fishing!  She has gained 1 point for the Prehistoric Era.

The twins have discovered the cave on their land filled with items, they don't know what it's for, but it points to the future.

Jonas has come to visit!  Ayla ignores him, but Akeem is thrilled to see he has his mother's red hair.

The twins grow up again into lovely young ladies, even in their furs.

The first family portrait of the challenge has been painted!  Akeem, Ayla, and Rose were painted by Giselle.

Alana grew up again with her sisters in the background.  She's proud of herself!  Soon after the twins grow to young adult and Rose and Alana move to an empty lot to fend for themselves for now.

Giselle has met an adult named Travis Scott.

At least the family still has time for each other, even after the men become elders.  It's rough watching them age.

Keegan Crum has been born!  Thus ends the Prehistoric Era and the Early Civilization Era has been launched!  Final score for Prehistoric Era is 8/10, bringing our total score to 10 as of right now.  I'll update soon with how the new house looks!

The house has been updated, it's no longer a cave and all the walls are stone, as well as the floors.  The generations have their own rooms (roughly), and they finally have a kitchen.

Little Keegan grows up to be absolutely adorable, and Independent!

Ayla finally ages to Elder, I don't want to open my file again because I know she's going to die soon.

First Gold Ribbon House Party is in the bag!  Ayla is now going for the Party Animal (right?) aspiration to help out with those points.

And the second family portrait has been painted!  Giselle kind of got in front of Travis, but... that's alright.

Akeem is the first to die in this file, which is pretty sad.

His tombstone is the first of the family's to be on the plot.

Travis is next, at least he stuck around long enough to be painted.

Akeem visits as a ghost a few nights later.  I've never done anything with ghosts in this game, so it's interesting they break EVERYTHING.
