Problems with gardening...still

I still have the issue of in season plants reverting to mounds of dirt and right before my eyes at that. Both when they are in a planter, a (Cottage Living) gardening patch, and directly on the ground. It is frustrating to read over on Answers HQ that it was fixed with patch 1.68 when that is not what I experience. My game is mod free, up to date, repaired, and I have all available packs installed. Firefox won't let me login at Answers HQ due to some security reason, but maybe someone here can help with the gardening issue? Thanks in advance.

From what I have found it's a known bug that is still happening in some players game.

As for work-arounds, Crinrict has posted some in her post, with two of them being:

1. Place the plants in the household inventory and then place them in their box again.
2. Use testingcheats and shift-click on plant to modify their growth.

I'm still finding that bug alive and kicking too, especially if I enter Manage Households and then go back to my Sim. I've resorted to using cheats to restore them to full bloom but it isn't ideal.
