Add lots to my world

Hi

I like to add lots to my world but so far, I cannot figure out how.
I want to add a venue from the community but I do not have a lot large enough.
Today is the first I have been able to sit down and spend a few hours playing.

Here's a How To on changing the lot types of your game and how to download new builds to those lots. It explains it better than I can and with photos.

Look in the different worlds for the lot you need. If there's something on that lot, bulldoze the lot and then place yours.

You can't actually make a brand new lot and then place that into an existing world, only existing lots can be changed and modified.

Unfortunately That as far as I know is not possible in Sims 4. When they built Sims 4 they took out a ton of customization tools Sims 3 had as well as the open world. So adding a new lot is something that was lost.  There is lots of things I miss from Sims 3 that isn't in Sims 4 world modification like adding lots is just one of them.

As MrsFynn pointed out you can modify the lot type. But if the world lacks a lot of the right size well your kinda stuck.
