Very quick question if I may x   Can I use the 'Gallery' to place all community lots and residential lots will it work as a town that way ?

Welcome to the forum! Yes, you can use the Gallery to make Newcrest a town. It will work as well as Oasis Springs or Willow Creek, but you might have to place a couple of families.
