Acting Career Uniform?

Does the acting career have a uniform?  My sim always goes to work in whatever she is wearing, she gets on stage and performs in whatever she is wearing and the other NPC's are in costume.  Do I have to go into CAS to change her outfit accordingly before each performance? or is she supposed to be changing on her own?

If she is supposed to be changing, could you recommend a fix?  I haven't tried anything yet other than making sure my game is updated.

There is a makeup/hair station, and a wardrobe station you are supposed to click on and they put you in costume and makeup. Not doing this negatively effects your score unless you have certain game perks. These stations are in smaller rooms to the side of the stage. Makeup has a makeup chair from the style career that you click on, and wardrobe has racks of clothing you click on a square platform to get in costume.
