I don't know how many times I've bought a lotto ticket. Seems like a million. There were times I really needed the money. But at this point, money is so easy to get that it seems like an afterthought.
So I was amazed when my University student won the lotto today. TBH, I didn't even know how much it paid out. Once he won it, it kind of took away from any challenge that game had. I'll still play it out because it will give a chance to buy a house I never could afford. But sometimes the fun in the game is figuring out how to make do.
Funny thing, Mele Kahananui gave me a call right after I won. Go figure.
