OK I aged up a sim from teen to young adult using a cake with candles today. When she aged she didn't receive her third trait as she was supposed to. Everything else worked as it should. It said she was a young adult, she got her empathy traits and the like just not the third main. Don't know why. She is a vamp, but that was never an issue before. She was Father Winters baby, maybe that had something to do with it? The only mod I run is Tmex-AllCheats to regain the lost cheats I used to fix issues like this and it is new to me so maybe it is at fault. I will need to test it next time I age a teen to adult. Sorry didn't save the game on this one before I aged her up. My bad I know.
Anyway here is the fix. Cheat the third into play. Here is how I did it. Press shift+Ctrl+c to get the cheat drop-down. Type "testingcheats on" and hit enter. Type "cas.fulleditmode" and hit enter. Shift-Click on bugged sim. Edit sim adding the third trait and hit the check and the problem is solved.
I am posting this just in case others are having this issue as I have a viable work around and thought I would share if anyone needed it.
