Wild plants and collectibles not respawning

I waited patiently hoping the newest patch would take care of this but didn't happen.  While I hung around several different places for days on end, the plants, (harvested), and/or collectible dig sites are not respawning.  My own plants, (garden), respawns as usual but nothing in the wild once harvested or dug.

That was supposed to be fixed in the patch and i believe I read it in the release notes, which were very long so they fixed a bunch of bugs I guess. I would suggest the technical help page instructions on how to repair or refresh your game. I had the issue as well but I have seen the wilds harvestables start to work again. I installed the update and then cleaned out my game. I make it a habit to clean every update or patch.

Even if you don't play with mods or custom content installed, it's a good idea to clear game cache and the localthumbcache.package from the Sims 4 folder to help with troubleshooting.

The localthumbcache.package can be found in the main Sims 4 folder
C:\Users\Username\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4

Repair Game:
In Origin > Games Library, right-click on Sims 4 and select Repair. - It does not make any changes to the saved game files. Meaning that your saved games are safe, they won't be deleted. If you'd like you can copy the Sims 4 folder to the desktop or a USB key.

If the above doesn't help, try a Sims 4 factory reset and a new game save to test. If everything works well in the test game, you can copy or move things back.

I have a problem with wild plants as well - they grow in pairs in some neighborhoods. I know others had a similar  issue at some point, but it's still on in my game.

These issues are all still in all of my games too @Nindigo  tbh I just ignore them as there's nothing else you can feasibly do anyway. The non-spawning of wild plants/dig sites etc is a pain though.

I'm really getting fed up with this.  I've got two Sims that can't progress very far because things either don't respawn, (and yes I did the clean up and repaire thing), or just don't grow.  Two seasons of inch tall apple trees, not that that is a big deal but still.  This game is just no longer much fun.  Between not spawning and trying to figure out what to do for the little challenge it's just work, work, work and to no purpose.
