[BUG] Cheats Not Working (Seasons Patch)

Are they going to fix it or not?

Bug of this nature are usually fixed quite quickly but the developers have given no indication of time as of yet. So I would say a definite 'yes' to your question if the cheat bugs are going to be fixed but can't give you a time-frame.

It seems to me that since the last patch, the cheat to alter the character value stats (stats.set_stat lifeskillstatistic_conflictresolution 100, etc.) no longer works. Yes, I have testing cheats enabled. None of the mods I’m using have ever conflicted with it before.

Anyone else notice this, or know of any workarounds?

There is no work around that I know of and they are broken for everyone that I know of, mods or no mods.

Once they get the problem fixed they let us know till then just have to play it and use what we can. think of it as a challenge.

@Teryx at the moment, most cheats are broken, some have been fixed but it's a case of waiting for the patch to come out, to see what is being fixed.

Whispering Wishing Well still works and while random and only covers certain skills, it using cheat can replace some missing cheats. Like if you wigh to promote your sim, it can do that. Or if you wish your sim had a basic game skill maxed it will eventually get it for you if you spam wishes with cool down timer turned off and forced positive outcomes. You'll max out a random base game skill each time you use it just repeat until you max out the skill your hoping for and with no cool down you can level every base game skill in no time. It isn't the best solution to the cheats being down but if you own Romantic Garden Stuff it can do some of what the cheats did. Just a thought.

Glad they returned some cheats, really hoping the death cheats will be returning eventually as well as many others.

Nevermind, Death cheats are working again... had to repair my game..

But reset object/sim wasn't and honestly that is the most important one. It helps deal with some of the worse bugs and glitches I experienced in my game that would have made it unplayable. There removing of that "cheat" has for the first time ever downloading a mod to bring it back. They say it can break the game but from my experience they break the game and that "cheat" sometimes restores it. I used it since I started playing to counter bugs and glitches and not once did it cause a single issue but it has fixed more than a few. Why they took one of the best counters for their mistakes away I just don't get.
