Snowflake Day
« on: June 07, 2018, 06:55:05 PM »
hi gang!

I just have 2 questions, the first is can I have a gift giving for myself and my family as snowflake is similar to Christmas? I want to try it but if it is not possible that you have to invite sims over in order to have a gift giving party. also, is it possible to send 2 separate sims to university? I was planning to send my sim to university and have him meet  his  future wife there. one I plan to create and they hopefully meet and get together.  I hope in can do both these things. it sounds fun in my head anyway.

thanks!

Snowflake day is similar to Christmas. I've never done gift giving parties, so I don't what's possible with them. If it's not possible, you can still invite Sims over and give them gifts individually.

I don't think you can have Sims living in the University town - meaning you can't add a Sim and then have your active Sim meet the other Sim there. Unless they are participating in classes. There maybe a mod that allows for that, but I'm unaware of any.

You can send one Sim from the same household to University, and will become the active Sim - the one you follow around. The rest of the family will not be active. I don't think you can switch between the two.

You might have to have your Sim meet the other Sim just after coming home from University?

If you want to be able to control two (or more) sims at uni, they both need to be within the one 'household'. At least that is without mods/cheats.

Having said that, you can choose to have them not related to each other by blood and/or claim they are strangers who happened to move into the same dorm.

You can also befriend existing sims in university while there, and I guess invite them back to your homeworld to interact further with them, and have them become part of your household.

Mods may exist that achieve closer to what you want, but I don't use mods in my game, and I really don't know, sorry.

Sorry I couldn't be of more help, @Peanuts61
