Couch Training
« on: October 01, 2020, 05:19:03 PM »
I couldn't find a way in this forum to search for this topic. Let me know if there is a way. My dog keeps wanting to sleep on the couch instead of his bed. Am I wasting my time scolding him when he gets on it and then telling him to sit here (his bed) and then praising him? Also, he keeps looking at the refrigerator with the thought bubble. It isn't Xed out like the TV bubble is. And he has plenty of food . Any idea what that mean?

I game only has preset training ideas if that's what you want to call them. Couch training isn't one of them.

Here is Carls guide link Pet Training

Edit:

As for the refrigerator, the dog could be a pet fear or obsession with the item.

Also is the bed the right size for the dog?

Pets seem to work the same way as sims, they'll choose a place to sleep that's close to someone else. My dogs would often just lay down on the bedroom floor next to a bed instead of a pet bed in an empty room.
Not sure if comfort rating is any major factor, but it seems the presence of another sim is.
