Go Working to Restaurant, Office, Lab, etc ?

I choose to live in Oasis Landing forever, so (maybe) I won't go back to present.
How I make my sims can go work to those place permanently ? I've used mailbox cheat but the next time after I use the game, they are unemployed while I can work permanently with self-employed career.

As I understand it, you can only live/work in Oasis landing with mods and a custom world. As EA/Maxis didn't make Oasis Landing to be livable permanently.

You may want to post your questions at the Official Sims forum or ModtheSims. As they have more players at both forums that use mods and custom content that may be able to help better with your questions.
