WA locations loading, but sims not showing up

My problem: I have been trying to send one of my sims to China. The location will load, but her picture (on the left hand side) and her avatar will not show up. I am not able to open up the tab that typically shows a sim's age, traits, needs, LTPs, career, inventory, or any of that stuff. Time passes as normal in game, but my sims will not show up. In the past, I have been able to send a sim in the same family to France with no problems.  I would very much like to fix this problem.

02.) What is your operating system? Windows 10

03.) Are you using Mods or Custom Content? - Yes, only CC. It is a few pieces of clothing and some furniture, but the sim who is trying to travel has none of the CC clothing on.

04.) What was the error message/code given? There has been none.

05.) What Expansions and Stuff packs do you have installed? University Life, Seasons, Supernatural, Pets, Generations, Late Night, Ambitions, World Adventures, and High End Loft Stuff

06.) When did you last do a full uninstall/reinstall of the game? It has been awhile...

07.) What were you doing at the time of the issue? Trying to travel to China

08.) Is your game up to Date? What is your current version? 1.69.43.024017

09.) Is there anything you'd like to add? I have not seen if the game will kick my sim out of China after her time is up, and I should probably try to find out. I have also tried traveling to Egypt with the same sim, and the same problem occurred. But fixing China is more important to me than fixing Egypt.

It sounds like your game is running fine, technically. You just can't travel to China.

Try these tips to see if they help.

1. Empty Sims personal and family inventories, as often too many items in the inventories can cause issues. - Also, having a large family with a large house and a lot of furniture, decor and landscaping will cause lag after awhile.

2. Reset Town, Individual Sims and/or Evict Household

3. Check a new game save to see if the issue still remains.

4. Go back a save and try traveling with them.

5. Delete Game Cache Files (What & Howto)

6. Try a factory reset with no mods/cc and new game with new sim to see if the issue still happens.
