Saves folders and screenshot folders emty!

So I decided to play Sims3 for a change and almost all folders are empty, saves, videos, screenshots, etc. Anyone have any idea what could have happened to them? Years out the window.

Might they be hiding in your Recycle Bin? Just a thought.

Search your computer for Sims 3 folder.

To search your computer, click the Start button. In the Search bar type in the Sims 3. If you find the folder or files any where other than \Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4. You will want to move or copy them back to that location so the game can recognize the files within that folder.

Did you uninstall Sims 3 from your computer?
Are you still using the same computer as previous for Sims 3?

I found them!  How in the world does that happen.  Empty folders in the sims3 folder and the other folders are somewhere else.  Geeze.  I should have thought of that search, guess that is what happens when you get old.  lol.  Thanks so much MrsFlynn, "search" is a wonderful thing.

I've had a similar issue happen before. Searching my computer helped find the files. I think what happens is updates of any sort Windows and/or game updates can cause the game to hiccup and move folders or files. Not sure why it happens, I just know it happens every now and again.
