Making a simbot with eight sims in the house

Will be even possible to make a simbot if I have a full house. My Sim has mastered inventing so the opportunity to make a Simbot should come up right? But so far it has not does it have something to do with the fact my house is at maximum capacity.

Since simbots are considered a weird form of sim, you cannot build one with 8 sims (including pregnancies) in the household. You have to get rid of some.

I guess I will have to wait and make one when one of my mortals die.Either that or change my supermax skill to handiness.

I got the Master Invention quest with a full house and was able to complete it.  When it was completed the simbot just poofed into thin air, but I did get credit for completing the opportunity and was able to make simbots once I kicked out those good-for-nothing, freeloading adult children.
