After about five tries, Marina Collins the Ghostbuster got a male ghost from transfiguring. He got her pregnant, and went steady with her. However, when she announced her pregnancy to him, I discovered he Disliked Children! (I never bothered to check his traits, I was too excited.) This provoked a shouting match between them, and he eventually broke up with her on his own free will, that jerk. (I found out he also had Commitment Issues) I kicked him out, and oddly, he vanished from her contacts panel. This also happened with the four other ghosts she released into the wild. He doesn't seem like the kind of person you'd forget five seconds after he left the house. He reappeared in her contacts when they ran into each other at the diner, but he disappeared again when she left the lot. What's up with that?

When you're friends with NPC ghosts, they only show up when you're actually talking to them.  They're dead, so they don't show up in your relationship panel.  He only showed up there before because he was in your house and you controlled him.

Ah. Still, I can't imagine her forgetting someone who impregnated her and broke her heart. Oh, well. This is sims, not real life.

He might show up in the family tree.  But then again, maybe not.  To the game, ghosts don't really exist if you don't control it.
