Moving my entire Sim family out
« on: April 27, 2018, 08:53:55 PM »
Okay, so I got the "invisible stereo" glitch where music is playing but there is no stereo around to turn off, and someone mentioned a while back that moving their household out and then back in worked for them. I live in a large house in Bridgeport that I've expanded and added quite a bit of furniture to; my question is, if I move out, will all my furniture be reset? Also, did this fix work for you, if you needed to use it?

When moving a family, you can choose to move with or without the furniture. If you move with furniture, you get to keep all the furniture. If you choose without, it sells the furniture.

When I've had glitches happen in my game, I usually try resetting the town, and or evicting the family and them moving them back in. They usually keep their furniture.

I just want to add that if you decide to sell the furniture, it will still be in the house and it will just add to the price of buying back the house. Otherwise, if Mrs Flynn's suggestion didn't work or if this happens again in the future, you might just need to reset the whole lot via Nraas Master Controller. To do that, choose any computer or the city hall, nraas/master controller/household/reset lot. This will reset everything. I've had to do this w/stuck sounds before. It's not quite as severe or long as resetting the whole town.
