Can other sims overthrow mine as club leader?

I have a club of high ranking vampires who basically all hate each other.  This is intentional as I'm looking for drama but I'm wondering whether one of the other members can autonomously persuade my active sim to stand down as the leader.

Welcome to the forum.    I don't think so, all that will happen is your friendship levels will continue to deteriorate and if another of your controlled sims were to ask one of the members about the club or it's leader their response would be negative.

I've never had any of my sims autonomously "deposed" as club leader, even during five generations of rotational gameplay.
That's why I've assumed that anonymous takeovers don't occur.
The only time a club takeover has ever happened in my games has been when I was controlling the wannabe sim.
Also, I only get the "Convince the leader to step down" interaction when the wannabe leader is friends with the current leader.

I've never formed a club with sims who despise each other, @rudidoodles     How is that playing out for you?
If I were you, I would create a master save and then save rather frequently.

If you don't ever want Vlad to be deposed, have him complete the Leader of the Pack aspiration.
He'll also max his charisma along the way.

Ooo! Interesting. I had initially thought sims could be deposed but because it's never happened to any of my sims I thought the feature either hadn't made it into the game or was just misinformation! So cool to know, thanks
