Saving Property Issues

I am wanting to save an apartment I just finished. I have seen other versions of the same apartment in the community gallery so I know it is possible, but when I go to save it it just says it is unavailable. What can I do? It will allow me to save an individual room but not the entire place.

Delete one piece of wall between all the rooms so that the entire apartment is now one large room when you select it. Now you can save your apartment as a 'Room" and when you place it into a game you can quickly replace the missing wall pieces and the apartment will function normally in San Myshuno.
