New PC - How good will it run Sims 4?
« on: January 31, 2015, 12:17:16 AM »
Hey everyone!

I first wanted to thank you guys for all the really helpful posts on PC Specs and running the Sims 4. My old clunker that I bought in 2008 is running the game way too slowly on low settings (manage households nearly killed everything) so I've decided a new PC is in order.

After taking all of your awesome advice, I've settled on one and I just wanted to put sure it has other simmers approval on it:

AMD Six-Core FX-6300 Vishera processor
3.50GHz (with a max turbo speed of 4.1GHz), 8MB L3 Cache
8GB DDR3 SDRAM system memory
1TB SATA hard drive
AMD R7-250 Graphics
With 2GB graphics memory

From everything I've read this seems more than efficient to run the Sims 4 at an enjoyable level but I've heard mixed reviews on the Graphics card.

Any help and thoughts on this would be insanely appreciated.

Thanks!

Hi Jekka,

This pc should do just fine for Sims 4 on high settings.

Hope this helps, and Welcome to the Forum!! :)
