** Please be aware that there may not be a lot of members who play the console version, but may help search for answers.
Information: The console version of Sims 4 is mostly the same gameplay wise as it is on PC/Mac. With exception to mods and custom content. There is no support for custom content or mods.
Sony and Microsoft aren't allowing mods and custom content on console except for very limited exceptions (Fallout 4 and Skyrim)
It's been suggested to contact Sony and Microsoft about allowing for custom content and mods for Sims 4, but do realize that support for mods and custom content on console tends to be a rare thing.

However, there may be a few other little differences, there isn't as many options in Game Options, there is
no mod or custom content support. Some cheats aren't available.
From time to time, they add a few community creations to player's My Library tab.
Players can have multiple families per save game, however there are only 5 save game slots.

If you've purchased and/or registered Sims 4 and it's packs via your PS4/XBox One account, you shouldn't need to worry about them being deleted or having to re-purchase them. When you log into your account, the game and it's packs should be available.
