Plants at Van Haunt & other places

I have been going daily for a week to both the Von Haunt Estate and the garden area in Oasis Springs to collect mature plants to plant in my garden, but nothing is maturing to harvest. What is the average time to harvest them and is there a correlation to time spent on that lot to time it takes to harvest?

The plants only grow during the time you are physically on that lot or, in the case of a residence, visiting the lot but elsewhere in the same neighborhood.

Gardening Skill

If your sim is level 5 gardening they can take cuttings which significantly lowers the wait time as the plant only has to be mature and not actually harvestable.

I'm glad to learn that the glitch has been fixed where we could only successfully graft using cuttings obtained on our home lot!
That will save lots of time!

Thanks Oshizu.....I guess I need to spend more time on the lot. I knew where all the plants were located and that some take longer than others to mature, but didn't know it was time correlated with how long you were actually on that particular lot.

Everything is 'frozen' on all but the one lot your sim is actually playable on. A 'lot' includes any surrounding neighborhood that your sim can walk to without encountering a loading screen.
