Some "Rung Up" Customers Don't Buy Anything.

The title pretty much explains it all. Some of my customers tell me to ring them up, which I do, and then proceed to stand around for a bit before asking to be rung up again. At no point do they make the swiping animation and buy something. They keep doing this until I kick the customers out. Anyone know why? It's costing me A LOT of money and any help would be greatly appreciated.

I can't tell if this is the same issue or not, but it might (?) be? This issue does sound like a familiar bug.

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately they're separate bugs. Customers signal that they want to buy something and ask me to ring them up, so I can do all of that. However, AFTER ringing them up, for some reason they don't take any items. They instead just stand there and keep asking me to ring them up; rinse and repeat.

Hi willowpape welcome to the forum.  If you have any mods or CC in your game take them out and try the selling scenario again. If it works you'll know it is a mod problem or a broken piece of cc.

I can't find any specific bug report on this so if it isn't related to mods it may well be something new that has occurred since the toddler patch.

Have you tried deleteing the localthumbcache.package file from your TheSims 4 folder? Or perhaps a Factory Reset (click) if nothing else is helping?

Check that the sims have access to the object, if items have been place with the MOO cheat this might be causing issues.

You could also try saving your retail shop to your library, bulldozing the current one and then replacing it, but this will reset perk points, I think from memory.

I was having the same issues, I think it was because the item they wanted to buy had something blocking it. I redesigned my floor plan and it hasn’t happened since. Hope that helps!
