Deleting Gravestones..

I'm having a lack of brain moment... Is there some way to get rid of gravestones? As in delete them from the game.. tried sticking them on a different lot but they ended up back in the family inventory..

Once I have released the spirit to the netherworld I just go into build and delete them. I think you can also drag them into the 'sell' box in-game.

@Playalot  I did try that but I can't seem to sell them. Can only place them in the inventory or back on the home lot.. attempted to stick them in an unused lot but again no luck..

Update: This suggestion actually doesn't work or it may not work for all.

It's been suggested to make a room on a different lot using the cheat bb.enablefreebuild, place the gravestones in the room and bulldoze the lot.

I guess it's a bug as I was able to just sell mine or delete it in build mode. What a pain.  Hopefully making a room and deleting it works. You could also try enabling testingcheats on and then resetting the object, maybe after resetting the urn you will be able to delete it then.

@MrsFlynn Will try it out, see if I can get it to work, I did try it before but had no luck, maybe a second attempt will work...

@Playalot Yeah, it's looking that way, always play with cheats on, and did attempt to reset it but had the same issue of being unable to delete them.

Will try again and see if it works this time, otherwise I'll go flag it as a bug.

Second time around, it didn't work but I did find another way of doing it, it's a bit longer to do but it worked.

I had to kick my family out of the house, save the house and bulldoze the lot they were living on, as the tombstones didn't stay on the empty lot under freebuild. Then stick the house back on the lot and move the family back in.

It's a bit of a pain to do but it works when you can't delete tombstones and both what you Playalot, and MrsFlynn suggested doesn't work.

Oh Franki, what a time-consuming solution that must have been! Glad you got it fixed!
