Unplayed sims won't age

Hi,

I am currently playing a house and want everything to age normally, both active and non active houses, but the non active sims aren't aging.

I have auto age (played sims) set to yes and auto age (unplayed sims) ticked

I have shut down and restarted a few times but they still aren't aging.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Have you tried moving out the mods folder to the desktop and clearing game cache?

Move the mods folder to desktop (for testing purposes) - This is to make sure it's not some outdated mod/cc files or hidden files in the Mods folder. Read more about that in the post linked below:

I moved the mod file and cleared the cache and finally the sims have started aging.
