Sunset Valley
« on: December 03, 2010, 05:49:54 PM »
I've just published the first of several guides that will focus on content everyone has - the base game. Some of this will be useful to players of the console port, but the first of these is only for people playing PC/Mac.

The Sunset Valley Tour is now available on the guide. This will serve as a gateway to other information, such as Sunset Valley's residents. Some of you will really like the map I made so long ago finally being put to good use. This is of no small thanks to you guys here because I got a lot of great leads on spawn points. Have a look about halfway down the page to see the map I'm referring to. I also listed all the undeveloped Beautiful Vista lots thanks to info gathered here.

Is something like this on the horizon for the other towns? Certainly not Barnacle Bay, but time will tell.

I've a hundred things to do to the guide, so it's going to be a busy December.  8)

Great job on that, Carl. The SV special seed locations are finally out for everyone to see. It's about time, man. Were you waiting for Sims 4 to come out or just for me to walk over to your house and hand you the map?

I was thinking of waiting on that map.  :-\ Thanks to your scribbles and the collection helper it wasn't too hard figuring out the rest. I wish I could see a poll with a huge sample size to see just how many people play in the other towns. I know people bounce but everyone's got a favorite.

Great, Thanks Carl!

I found a mistake:

Quote
Real Estate
Many of the places in town are available for purchase. For Vanilla Sims 3 (The Sims 3 with no expansions), this list is limited to rabbit holes which your Sim enters but cannot be seen. With The Sims 3 Ambitions expansion, it also includes buildings like the Library and Fishing Holes which can be upgraded with more equipment to increae their profit potential. It would be redundant to list all the information about the various prices, upgrade requirements, and earnings here -- if you need that information or would like to learn more, have a look at the Real Estate and Venues Ownership Guide.

Should that Increa be Increase?

I thought we'd done a poll for that.  If not, we can certainly put one up.

I've had one running here for a while. It's clear how it goes... A guide that big takes some time so other projects will keep the other towns on the back burner for now.
